Review: Pedal Mafia Artist Series Jersey
(2022) Every athlete has that one favorite jersey. For some that favorite jersey holds sentimental value. For others it was the right fabric in the right spot to bring about the perfect fit. On an unseasonably warm winter day, we got out and tried the Pedal Mafia Artist Series Jersey and found that this jersey became an instant favorite for all the right reasons.
Pedal Mafia has figured out the right fabric cuts in the right places. With generous length sleeves, the jersey’s style is current while adding to the comfort. Amidst all this, the fabric reminds us of a favorite hockey jersey. It was a favorite because it felt great to wear, and this jersey serves the same function. With a stout zipper down the front, the jersey is easy to manage with quick opening and closing. Then there is the rubber lined waist gripper that holds the jersey in the correct place, preventing ride-up.
Continuing with the mechanics of the jersey, Pedal Mafia incorporates a water-resistant rear pocket for electronics while making it reflective for safety. And not only does the jersey’s fabric look great, it wicks well, too. Featured on the inside is a fabric label where riders can fill out blood type, emergency contact name and number. Both the fashion and the function are the reason this jersey rocketed to the top spot as a favorite.
